Stone Coated Roof Vents and Flashings for Livermore, CA

On a dark roof in a Livermore July, bare metal gets too hot to hold a hand on by midafternoon. Spray paint was never made for that. It fades first, then chalks, then flakes off the high spots of a vent cap where the sun lands hardest, and the galvanized underneath starts to shine through again.
