Accessibility Statement

We aim for this site to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. WCAG is published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and Level AA is the level most accessibility guidance points to. It is our target, not a claim that every page is perfect, and we keep working toward it as pages are added and changed.

• Text alternatives. Product photos, gallery photos and before and after pictures carry alternative text that says what the photo shows, such as the product and its color. Purely decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
• Keyboard navigation. Links, menus, buttons and form fields can be reached and used with a keyboard alone, in a logical order, and the item that has focus is visibly outlined.
• Contrast. The black and white design gives text strong contrast against its background, and text and controls are built to meet the WCAG AA contrast ratios for normal and large text.
• Reduced motion. Motion is kept to a minimum, and when your device is set to reduce motion, the site turns off nonessential animation.
• Page structure. Each page has one main heading with clearly labeled sections beneath it, so screen reader users can jump from section to section.
• Phones and zoom. Pages are built to work at phone, tablet and desktop widths, and text can be enlarged without the page breaking.
• Tap to call. The phone number is a link, so on a phone you can tap it to call.

No website gets everything right, and we would rather tell you where this one may fall short.

• Videos. The product videos on our videos page are hosted on YouTube. They may not have captions or audio description, and the YouTube player is not something we control. If you need to know what a video shows, ask us and we can talk you through it.
• Color and texture. Some photos show fine detail, such as the granule texture of a stone coated finish or a custom color blend, that alternative text can only summarize. Ask about a product or a color and we can describe it in more detail.
• Other companies' sites. Our Facebook, Instagram and YouTube pages are run by those companies, and their accessibility depends on them.

When we find a barrier on our own pages, we fix it.

Homeowners can ask about colors, the Rapid Sleeve or how to get our products onto a roof through their roofer. Roofing contractors and distributors can ask about or order stone coated flashings and stone coated vents the same way. If a different format works better for you, such as plain text in an email or going through the details by phone, tell us and we will do our best to provide it.
